Product Overview
The OP240B is a 890nm high intensity gallium aluminium arsenide (GaAIAs) Infrared Emitting Diode mounted in IR transmissive clear epoxy package. The side-locking package is for use in PC board mounted slotted switches or as easily mounted interrupted detectors. It is suitable for use in space-limited applications, PCBoard mounted slotted switch, PCBoard interrupter.

- Mechanically and spectrally matched to OP550 and OP560 devices
- Wavelength matched to silicon's peak response
- Significantly higher power output than GaAs at equivalent drive currents
- Side-locking package for space limited application
