Product Overview
PVT412PBF is a PVA412 series single-pole, normally-open, HEXFET® power MOSFET photovoltaic relay. It serves as a replacement for electromechanical relays in various applications. Utilizing International Rectifier’s proprietary HEXFET power MOSFET as the output switch, it is driven by an integrated circuit photovoltaic generator of novel construction. The output switch is controlled by radiation from a GaAlAs light-emitting diode (LED), which is optically isolated from the photovoltaic generator. This SSR is specifically tailored for worldwide telecom applications. The PVT412 does not employ current-limiting circuitry and offers lower on-state resistance. Applications include on/off hook switches, dial-out relays, ring relays, and general switching.

- Maximum off-state leakage is 1.0µA (TA=+25°C, ±400V)
- Maximum load current is 140mA (AC or DC, TA=+40°C, 5mA)
- Operating voltage range from 0 to ±400V(DC or AC peak)
- Insulation resistance - input-output at 90VDC is 10¹²ohm (25°C - 50% RH, 100VDC)
- Maximum capacitance - input-output is 1.0pF, maximum output capacitance is 12pF (50VDC)
- 6-lead DIP package, operating ambient temperature range from -40 to +85°C
