JOIN US AT THE ENGINEERING DESIGN SHOW

This Expo Stand Promotion is run by Farnell, hereinafter referred to “Farnell” or “we / us” on the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms).

By entering into this Expo Stand Promotion, all entrants (“Entrants”) will be deemed to have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Entrants are advised to download, print and keep safe a copy of the Terms. The Terms will be displayed at our stand on the Engineering Design Show 2025 in paper form and are furthermore available on our website, Farnell - EDS 2025. Farnell reserves the right to revise the Terms before the Expo Stand Promotions will be run at EDS 2025. Revised Terms will be posted on Farnell - EDS 2025 and will be available physically at the stand and it is a condition of entry to the Expo Stand Promotion that Entrants agree to comply with such amendments from time to time.

No purchase is necessary to participate in the Expo Stand Promotion.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to enter this Expo Stand Promotion, Entrants must:

• be 18 years of age or older at the date of submission of your entry.
• not be an employee, officer or director or member of the direct family (including partners, siblings, spouse, partner, children, step parent or step child) of an employee, officer or director of any company which is a member of the Premier Farnell or Avnet group or anyone associated with the running of this Expo Stand Promotion. Export distributors and their employees and representatives are not eligible to enter the Expo Stand Promotion.
• agree to have read, understood and to be bound by these Terms and to comply with all other requirements of these Terms.

Employees from public sector companies or (governmental) officials are excluded from participation.

How to Enter

To participate as an Entrant to this Expo Stand Promotion, Entrants must visit Farnell booth at EDS 2025 (Stand E50) from 8th to 9th October 2025 to register for the Expo Stand Promotion. Registration can be done either:

• By showing the visitor’s badge to the Farnell Expo Stand Promotion staff at the stand and allow it to be scanned.*
• Or alternatively by providing a business card to the Farnell Expo Stand Promotion staff at the stand. Please note that in this case, we will process the data if required for the Expo Stand Promotion, including without being limited to, for contacting you in case you have been identified as a winner of the Expo Stand Promotion. We will also process your data for marketing purposes, provided you allow us to. For further information on how we process your data, please refer to Farnell - Privacy Statement.

* Please be aware of the consent provided with MA Exhibitions regarding the usage of your data by exhibitors and the media partners of EDS 2025. If you allow us to scan your visitor’s badge and if you have consented into marketing, we will process your data for marketing purposes in accordance with our privacy policy. For more information please refer to Farnell - Privacy Statement.

Participation to the Expo Stand Promotion is independent of Entrants giving Farnell the permission to be contacted for marketing purposes or product information.

Only one entry per person per draw is allowed – Entrants are only eligible for one prize during the 2 day campaign.

Prize Draw and Winnings

8.The prize will be drawn from 1:30 pm to 2 pm each day during the 3 days of the exhibition (08/10/2025 – 09/10/2025). Any eligible Entrant can participate by 13:30 pm on each date.

9.The Prizes on each day of the Expo Stand Promotions will be:

The above table reflects the daily prizes that Entrants can win (one per Entrant max. during the campaign) if they meet above conditions & are present on Farnell stand at 2pm when the daily draw will be done. After the daily draw, prizes will be directly handed out to the winners.

No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are not received for any reason. Farnell’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be notified in person on Farnell booth.

General Conditions

Farnell reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any winner before any prizes are issued and may require proof of identification and age. If Farnell suspects fraud or misconduct, or if it is discovered that an Entrant has failed to comply with the eligibility requirements set out in the Terms then the prize may be withheld or withdrawn or another prize winner may be selected.

Farnell takes Entrants privacy seriously. The personal information it obtains as a result of this Expo Stand Promotion will not be sold to third parties but will be used solely for the purposes of this Expo Stand Promotion, for its own customer research, business development and statistical purposes and if permission is granted, to promote Farnell’s business services and products. The Prizes are non-negotiable and non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered. Farnell reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Expo Stand Promotion or extend the period of participation as necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control. Farnell reserves the right to substitute all prizes with a suitable equivalent. Farnell will not be liable for any such withdrawal or change to the Expo Stand Promotion.

Entrants agree to be responsible for all applicable taxes, duties or other charges payable in relation to the Expo Stand Promotion. Entrants shall not be permitted to enter the Expo Stand Promotion if by entering into it they may cause Farnell and/or themselves to be in breach of any agreement, employment contract or other rule (including but not limited to any rule having the force of law to which Farnell or the entrant may be subject).

Farnell respects the policies of employers which forbid the acceptance of such prizes by their employees. The winning Entrant must have the authorization from his or her employer to accept the prize.

Farnell reserves the right to disqualify any entry made in breach any aforementioned conditions.

The prizes are supplied without the benefit of any warranties, (except for the benefits of any warranty protection provided by the manufacturer of the prizes but subject to all exclusions and limitations set out in the respective terms and conditions of sale of the manufacturer of the prizes). All further warranties or representations are hereby expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted at law. Without limiting the generality of the preceding statement, Farnell hereby exclude all and any liability arising out of the Expo Stand Promotion or the acceptance, use, quality condition, suitability or performance of the free goods, even where arising from Farnell’s negligence.

Farnell does not exclude liability under the T&Cs for death, personal injury arising or damage to property from its negligence, or for any matter in relation to which it would be illegal for Farnell to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark and Entrants irrevocably agree that the courts of Denmark shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Competition.
