The PN-DESIGNKIT-3 is the Port Note design kit for USB 2.0 ESD and overcurrent protection. Each Port Note solutions circuit protection design kit provides a simple, single page guide with essential information to provide an effective solution known to work in most typical applications. Information provided includes objectives, part numbers, compliance, schematics and much more. An universal serial bus (USB) 2.0 ports provide up to 480Mbps data transfer rates and 5V power at up to 500mA. As a hot pluggable interface, it typically requires protection against ESD and short circuits. This solution provides this protection.
