Product Overview
The MAX7034AUI/V+ is a 315MHz/434MHz ASK superheterodyne receiver in 28 pin TSSOP package. This fully integrated low power CMOS superheterodyne receiver is ideal for receiving amplitude shift keyed (ASK) data in 300MHz to 450MHz frequency range (including popular 315MHz and 433.92MHz frequencies). With few external components and low-current power-down mode, it is ideal for cost sensitive and power sensitive applications typical in automotive and consumer markets. The MAX7034 consists of a low noise amplifier (LNA), fully differential image-rejection mixer, an on-chip phase-locked loop (PLL) with integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), a 10.7MHz IF limiting amplifier stage with received-signal-strength indicator (RSSI) and analogue baseband data-recovery circuitry. Applications include automotive remote keyless entry, security systems, garage door openers, home automation, remote controls, local telemetry and wireless sensors.

- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Selectable image rejection centre frequency and selectable x64 or x32 fLO/fXTAL ratio

- Low (<lt/> 6.7mA) operating supply current
- Less than 3.0μA low current power-down mode for efficient power cycling
- Start-up time is 250μs
- Built-in 44dB RF image rejection
- Excellent receive sensitivity over temperature
- Maximum data rate is 33Kbps (manchester coded), 66Kbps (NRZ coded)
