Product Overview
HMC890ALP5E is a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), band-pass filter that features a user selectable pass-band frequency. The 3dB filter bandwidth is approximately 10%. The ≥20dB filter bandwidth is approximately 30%. The centre frequency can vary between 1.0GHz and 1.9GHz by applying an analogue tuning voltage between 0V and 14V. This tunable filter can be used as a much smaller alternative to physically large switched filter banks and cavity tuned filters. The HMC890ALP5E has excellent microphonics due to the monolithic design, and provides a dynamically adjustable solution in advanced communications applications. Applications include test and measurement equipment, military radar and electronic warfare/electronic countermeasures, satellite communications and space, industrial and medical equipment.
