Product Overview
DC2509A development platform is a versatile energy harvesting demo board that is capable of accepting solar, thermal, and piezoelectric energy sources or any high-impedance AC or DC source. Board contains 4 independent power circuits consisting of following EH ICs: LTC®3106, LTC3107, LTC3330, LTC3331 and LTC2935-2. The board is designed to connect to the DC2321A, a dust mote wireless sensor node demo board that monitors the batteries and the status signals of each IC. Each energy harvesting circuit on DC2509A hosts input turrets for connecting solar panels, thermoelectric generators, piezoelectric devices, or any other high impedance source. As a backup power supply, the board holds a primary battery and a secondary battery which can be easily routed to any of the applicable ICs. Board hosts groups of switches, jumpers, resistors which allow its operation be configured in various ways. As a result, system is very customizable and can be modified to meet the user’s needs.
