Product Overview

The RCMC series power resistors from Vishay are cooled by auxiliary heatsink (not supplied). These resistors are based on thick film metal technology. RCMC series resistors have NiCr alloy resistive element, alumina substrate and resin filled case encapsulation.
  • Resistance range includes E12 decade values from 0.27ohm to 18ohm
  • Maximum rated power is 750W at 25°C, high power/volume ratio
  • Cold system without external radiation
  • Dielectric strength VRMS (50Hz / 1min) is 5000V/7000V/12000V
  • Non inductive, easy assembly, self-calibrated pressure (400N)
  • Tolerance is ±10%, temperature coefficient is ±150ppm/°C
  • Nominal power rating at 70°C is 500W, maximum operating voltage is 5000V
  • Operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, Weight (maximum) is 120g
  • Material comply with the standard UL 94 V-0, insulation resistance is 10^5Mohm at 500VCC
  • High voltage, high power resistor
