Product Overview

The R47 series capacitors from Kemet are automotive grade, radial leaded, class X2 metalized polypropylene film EMI suppression capacitors. These capacitors are made of metalized polypropylene film encapsulated with self extinguishing resin in a box of material meeting the requirements of UL94 V-0 standard. It is used as electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in across the line applications requiring X2 safety classification. Intended for use in situations where capacitor failure would not result in exposure to electric shock.
  • Capacitance values ranges from 0.0047µF to 2.2µF
  • Voltage rating is 440VAC at 50/60Hz
  • Lead spacing of 10mm, 15mm, 22.5mm
  • Available in ±10%, ±20% tolerance
  • Operating temperature range from -40˚C to 110˚C
  • ENEC, UL, cUL approved
  • 100% screening factory test at 2200VDC/1500VAC
  • Self healing properties
  • Automotive grade AEC-Q200 qualified
