Product Overview

The PHE450 series capacitors from Kemet are radial leaded metalized polypropylene film capacitors. These capacitors are constructed with polypropylene dielectric and double metalized polyester film electrodes. The capacitor is encapsulated in self extinguishing resin in a box of material meeting the requirements of UL94 V-0 standard. Typical applications include high frequency applications with high current stress such as deflection circuits in televisions and protection circuits in switched mode power supply (SMPS) and electronic ballasts.
  • Capacitance values ranges from 0.33nF to 10µF
  • Voltage rating available from 250VDC to 3000VDC or 180VAC to 1000VAC
  • Lead spacing of 7.5mm to 37.5mm
  • Capacitance tolerance is ±5%
  • Operating temperature range from -55˚C to 105˚C
