Product Overview

The Epcos B722 StandarD series are round shaped radial leaded, SIOV metal oxide varistors. These varistors have wide operating voltage range from 11VRMS to 1100VRMS. B722 series varistors are used as control or compensation elements in circuits either to provide optimal operating conditions or to protect against excessive transient voltages. The voltage dependent characteristics enable these varistors to protect against high transient voltage spikes.
  • High surge current ratings up to 8KA
  • Peak energy range from 0.3J to 410J
  • UL, CSA, VDE, CQC (S05/07, S10/S14, S20), IEC approved
  • Operating temperature range -40°C to 85°C
  • Endurance of 1000h at 85°C
  • ±10% and ±5% varistor voltage tolerance
  • UL94V-0 rated flame retardant and epoxy resin coated
